Project Overview
The Brambles is a high-quality two-bedroom apartment development in Peterborough, thoughtfully designed exclusively for residents aged 60 and over.
The scheme features carefully considered communal spaces that encourage relaxation, social connection, and a strong sense of home.
Our Contribution
MBP Door Solutions was proud to deliver a comprehensive internal doors and glazed timber screens package for this important development. Our scope of works included:
- SecureSound Flat Entrance Doorsets – FD30 fire-rated, SBD/PAS24-tested oak veneer doorsets, precision-machined to accommodate specialist hardware supplied by our in-house MBP Ironmongery division.
- 5 Panel Cottage Middleweight Rapid Fit Doorsets – Fully finished woodgrain doors with a middleweight core, offering a premium feel. Supplied pre-hung with ironmongery and designed for installation in as little as 20 minutes.
- Communal Doorsets – A combination of glazed and unglazed FD30 and FD60 oak veneer doorsets for stairwells and shared communal areas.
- Glazed Timber Screens – FD30 and FD60 glazed primed, hardwood timber screens, enhancing natural light flow throughout communal spaces.
In addition, over 200 cans of FAS Fire Door Foam™ were supplied, along with FAS Intumescent Acrylic Sealant for linear gap sealing, provided by our specialist Fire & Acoustic Seals division.
